It is made of pure rubber, used for rotary shaft sealing, can block external pollutants, dust and water, internal sealing grease and other fluids, but also as a secondary seal to protect the main seal. When the speed is increased, the centrifugal force reduces the contact force of the lip, reducing friction and heating.

V-shaped sealing ring is easy to install and can stretch across flanges. Widely used, including home appliances, automobiles and other fields.

In terms of engineering design, the joint of the lip and the root has good flexibility and can adapt to shaft runout and other deviations. The speed increases, the lip contact pressure decreases, the wear and heat are less, the wear resistance and the life is long, and the axial surface will not be damaged.

V-type sealing ring commonly used materials are:

NBR nitrile butadiene rubber, resistant to oil, fuel and alkaline solutions, corrosion resistance to petroleum-based hydraulic fluids, etc., operating temperature -29°C to +121°C, but not suitable for some situations.

FKM fluorine rubber, oil resistance and other strong performance, high temperature, flame retardant and penetration resistance, working temperature -40°C to +204°C.

Other materials such as neoprene are also available.
